The PTA for both schools is launching a one-off appeal to buy air filters for Widcombe Junior School. Every day, hundreds of cars and lorries pass our children's classrooms. While we can't stop the traffic, purifiers can filter the air our children - and their teachers - breathe in. 

We want to raise £5,000: enough to buy Pollutant and VOC filters for each WJS classroom. As well as signifcantly reducing traffic pollution, these purifiers filter allergens and asthma triggers.
If we beat our target (or there's money leftover) this will first be put towards a fund to maintain the filters, school clean air initatives or for the PTA. Thanks as always for your support.
